Fun author fact:
Yes, I used to write fanfiction.
Yes, I have an AO3 account.
No, I am not currently providing directions to the crime scene.
Some of you do not need access to my ancient internet history. 😂
But there is one major difference between my AO3 era and my published-author era:
I AM ACTUALLY GOING TO UPDATE THIS STORY.
No abandoned WIP sitting untouched since 2017.
No “sorry guys, life got crazy, next chapter soon!” followed by six years of silence.
Book Two is happening.
Also, now that The Tome of Talula is officially out in the world, there is a deeply surreal realization I have had:
You all can technically write fanfiction about my characters now.
Which is WILD.
Please have fun.
Do whatever chaos your heart desires.
I just won’t read it.
Not because I don’t love you.
Because some doors are meant to remain closed between author and fandom. 😂
Anyway.
From fanfiction writer to published author.
Character obsession remains unchanged.
