Yesterday I turned 35.
If you’ve been following my journey, you know that this year wasn’t defined by a birthday—it was defined by finally bringing a dream to life.
After years of outlining, rewriting, worldbuilding, editing, and questioning whether I could actually finish it…
I did.
The Tome of Talula is real.
Creating this world has taught me that stories aren’t just about dragons, demons, heroes, or impossible odds. They’re about hope. Choosing to keep going. Finding light in places that feel impossibly dark.
That message has shaped both my characters and the person writing them.
Thank you to everyone who has followed along, encouraged me, shared my posts, or simply believed in this dream.
Here’s to another year of writing stories worth remembering.
And yes… Booker, Talula, Malik, Seth, and the rest of the crew are already demanding I get back to work. 😉
